Perry Joe Smith was born in Tyler, Tx on November 18, 1959 and passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Tyler. He graduated from Whitehouse High School in 1978 and he previously owned a Fire Extinguisher Business. He loved gardening & fishing. He was an artist, loved to draw & paint pictures for family & friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Marshall Smith.
Survived by his mother, Joan Smith of Whitehouse; daughter, Brittany Smith of Whitehouse; son, Kaleb Smith of Whitehouse; ex-wife, Diane Smith of Whitehouse; sister and brother in law, Tanya and Tim Hastings of Tyler, sister & brother in law, Sonya & David DeVuyst of Tyler; brother, Kirk Smith of Whitehouse, and sister, Nikki Aylor of Tyler, granddaughters, Sadie Wildt of Whitehouse & Addelynn Smith of Whitehouse. Several nieces & nephews.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Norman officiating. HE will be buried at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service from 9-10 a.m.
