Services for Ronald E. Crouch 79, of Tyler, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 with Rev. Walter Jones and Chaplain John Dooley officiating at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Tyler Memorial Park.
Ronald passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Tyler. He was born on August 11, 1936 in Chillicothe, Illinois to the late Clare C. and Eva Williamson Crouch. He served in the United States Marine Corps from May 1954 –1956. He was the owner of Surplus Discount Center on Hwy. 271 for 30 plus years and was a resident of Tyler for 60 years.
He is survived by son, Ronald E. Crouch Jr. of Bullard and daughter, Rhonda A. Burleson of Kingwood. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters, Rita L. Burris and Ruth A. Wise.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Johnson, Mike Wise and Rick Sanders.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
