

Thelma Marie Nolley, 84, of Tyler, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler. Mrs. Nolley, a homemaker, was born on March 29, 1928 in Winona, TX to William Lee and Ethel Kennedy Murrell. She graduated from Tyler High School and was an active member of the West Erwin Church of Christ, serving in benevolence and other church activities. She married her husband, Clifford on April 3, 2002. She and Clifford served meals at the Salvation Army at Christmas. She loved to dance with Clifford and shared a love for photography. She had a kind, gentle and giving spirit that made everyone gravitate to her and want to be in her presence. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edwin, Troy and Raleigh Murrell; sisters, Irene Cole, Eula Bell Sloan, Vera Betsy Lee; her first husband, Jack Henley; son, Jackie Henley and his wife, LeAnn. She is survived by her husband, Clifford Nolley of Tyler; sister, Jean Oliver and nephews, Ramon Ivey and his wife, Ruth, Royce Lee and his wife, Shirl, Edwin Ward and his wife, Gayle, Dan Ward and his wife, Donna, Steve Ward and his wife, Ging, Stan Kirtley and his wife, Connie, Dean Kirtley and Tommy; nieces, Ruth Sallee and her husband, John, Mary Duncan and her husband, Russell, Patricia Williams, Donna Howard and her husband, Glynn, Betty Smith and her husband, James and sister-in-law, Beatrice Cline. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler; with Minister Jason Reeves officiating.
