Tim White

Tim was born in Dallas, lived in Pleasant Grove as a teenager and moved to East Texas at 15. He married the love of his life, Glenda, in 1958 in Hopkins County after they met at Quitman High School. Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed cold beer, barbeque, and football, especially the Texas Longhorns. Tim proudly worked for Tyler Pipe for 41 years. He was a hard worker all his life, but most of all was deeply devoted to his loving family.

Tim is survived by his children, James Lee White of Quitman, TX, Johnny Allen (Sandra) White of Lindale, TX, and Tamara Ann Taylor of Chandler, TX; siblings, Robert Wayne (Roxie) White of Mineola, TX, Danny (Sharon) White of Whitehouse, TX, Larry (Margaret) White of Bullard, TX; grandchildren, Jacob White, William Allen White, Jason White, Johnny Aaron White, Timothy Martin, Tanya Martin Grant, Christopher Smith, and Ashley Smith; great-grandchildren, Anna Linsenmann, Victoria White, Luke White, Graycie White, Alice Smith, and Nico Smith.

Tim is preceded by his loving wife, Glenda Gay Russom White; father, Nathan Wayne White; mother, Bobbie Lee Turner; siblings, Linda Rae Grimes and Ronald Gene White; grandchild, Nathan White; and great-granddaughter, Taylor White.

A time of visitation for Tim will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., following a graveside service at 12:00 p.m. in the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
