Graveside services for William Kenneth “Ken” Daugherty, 61, of Flint are scheduled for 11am, Friday, September 30, 2011 at Tyler Memorial Cemetery with Rev. James Dill officiating. Tyler Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Daugherty was born October 6, 1949 in Gadsden, AL to William and Barbara Daugherty and passed away September 27, 2011 in Flint, TX. He was a fork lift operator and a member of Rose Heights Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, LaWanda of Flint; mother, Barbara Neighbors and husband, Frank of Weaver, AL; brother, Bruce and wife, Donna of Gadsdon, AL; father and mother inlaw, Thomas and Sue Swindle of Tyler; sister in law, Patsy Pittillo and husband, Dennis of Euless; brothers in law, Steve Swindle and wife Lisa of Tyler and Mike Swindle of Tyler; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister; Pamela Scales and his father, William Daugherty.
Pallbearers will be Mike Richards, Ronnie Moncrief, Jim Hawk, Michael Aaron Swindle, Thomas R. Swindle and Mike Newell.
Visitation will be Thursday evening 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
