Montville – Maryann Theresa (Sawicki) Towne , 68, of Oakdale, CT passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 14, 2015 after a brief illness.. Maryann was born September 27, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Joseph A. Sawicki and Helen C. (Koniecki) Sawicki. Survived by her loving husband of 49 years, William K. Towne Sr. Her children, daughter Cindy Jentgens and her husband Terry Jentgens, son, William K. Towne Jr., daughter Sarah Rubino and son Michael Towne and wife Agnes Towne. Four grandchildren, Aaron and William Towne, Kaitlin Rook, Ryan Rubino, and son-in-law Joseph Rubino III. She is also survived by her brother Francis Sawicki and wife Jan. Proceeded by brother Thomas Sawicki.
Maryann was employed part time by Goodbye Charlies Package Store.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday January 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Montville Funeral Home of Church & Allen, Rte 32 Uncasville, CT 06382. Family will welcome friends and family starting at 12:30 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: www.woundedwarriorproject.org
