Paul Buchholz

Oakdale-Paul D. Buchholz, age 57, passed away February 21, 2011 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London. He was born on November 14, 1953 in New London to the late Paul and Stacia (Blados) Buchholz.

Paul worked as a Metal Technician at PCC Structural in Groton from the age of 19 to the present. He will be greatly missed by his second family at PCC.

He graduated from St. Bernards in Uncasville, Connecticut in the Class of 1971.

He is survived by an ex-wife Rosemary Desmarais of New London, a step-daughter Rachel M. Lane of Uncasville, and a step-son Michael R. Lane of Uncasville and a step-granddaughter, Lillian J. Belardo of Uncasville. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Andrews-Morrow, and family, of Guilford, Connecticut.

Family and friends may visit the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich New London Turnpike, Uncasville, on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Norwichtown on Saturday at 10:30. Everyone is to meet at church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
