Robert Mattison

Uncasville- Robert R. Mattison Jr., age 85, passed away at his home in Uncasville on March 9, 2012. He was born in New London on February 26, 1927 to the late Robert and Frances (Turner) Mattison. He married his beloved wife of 61 years, Beverly (Arnold) Mattison in Westerly, RI on January 13, 1951.

Robert was served in the US Navy during World War II. He worked as a paper maker for Robertson Paperbox and Federal Paperboard. He was an avid Redsox and UCONN Huskies fan.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by a son Jeffrey Mattison of Uncasville, a daughter Kathleen Kovalik of South Carolina, a daughter Lisa Roisum and her husband Kevin of Oakdale, a daughter Ruth Livingston of South Dakota, a daughter Wendy Kreber and her husband George of South Dakota and a brother Peter Mattison and his wife Aniko of Florida. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Robert is predeceased by a son Robert Mattison.
