Wendy Bruning

Wendy leaves behind her father, Fred Bruning, step mother, Dee, mother Christine Perkins, step father Brett Perkins, sister Melissa Bruning and her sons Wayne, Marcus and Zachary, sister Rebecca Brown and husband Lloyd and their daughter Linda McLaughlin and her children Nyashia, Praiyze and Nasjir; sister Julie Bruning; sister Kerri Metzermacher and her husband David and their daughters Rylee, Maranda, Kayla and her daughter Sophia. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles Elizabeth Harvey, Clem and Donna Bruning, Bernard and Shirley Bruning, Jerry and Sandy Bruning, Don and Mila Bruning, Jan and Bruce Archer and by numerous Nebraska cousins.

Calling hours will be held at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 8 pm with a celebration of Wendy’s life at 8 pm.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at St. John’s Church, 22 Maple Ave. Uncasville, at 10 am. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Wendy’s memory may be made to the Key Human Services Recreational Fund, Quarry Road Home, 270 Farmington Ave., Suite 220, Farmington CT 06032.
