Amedio De Benedictis, 92, of Pompton Plains formerly of Union passed peacefully in his home on July 27, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Frances. Dear father of Karen De Benedictis, Elaine Gallagher and her husband Shawn. Grandfather of Julia Gallagher and Laura Kulick. Brother of Edith Zara. Mr. De Benedictis is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave., Union on Thursday August 1st at 9:30 a.m. with mass being offered at Holy Spirit Church, Union at 10:30 a.m. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow.
