Carlo S. Jazmin

Carlo Sebastian Jazmin Sr. peacefully passed away on the morning of July 7, 2022, at the age of 74. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his tremendous courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Carlo will best be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

He was born on October 8, 1947, in the town of Mangatarem, in the Philippines, as one of seven children. He immigrated to the United States in 1970, married his wife Cleofe, and the couple eventually settled in Brooklyn, NY to raise their three children. Carlo and Cleofe later retired and moved to Edison, NJ to be closer to their five grandchildren.

Carlo is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cleofe Agustin Jazmin, his daughter Jennifer Jazmin McLaughlin and son-in-law Brendan McLaughlin, his son Carlo Jr. and daughter-in-law Jennifer Horan Jazmin, his son Christopher Jazmin and his five grandchildren: Kayla, Evan and Abigail Jazmin, and Megan and Owen McLaughlin. He will be remembered as the Funny Uncle, Father & Grandpa, always the life of the party!

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held at the Holy Spirit Church, 971 Suburban Rd, Union, NJ 07083 on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 10:30 AM.
