Catherine is survived by her beloved husband Philip, loving son Colin G. Gertel, brother, Kevin J. Griffin and his wife Rose, and nieces and nephews, Rachel Sambrowski, Joseph F. Griffin, Laura K. Griffin, Sara l. Maloy, and Sean M. Griffin.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 11AM at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the McCracken Funeral Home, Union. Memorial donations in Catherine’s name may be made to the ASPCA at www.aspca.org under “other ways to donate”
