Edward Joseph Sienkiewicz

On March 23, 2023, Edward J. Sienkiewicz, 69, of Union, passed away peacefully after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Ed leaves behind his high school sweetheart, Robin, his devoted wife of 47 years, their son Dan of Clark, sister Fran White of Old Bridge, and brother Paul Sienkiewicz of Wilmington, DE.

Ed was many things to many people. A loving husband and father, and a great friend to many. Ed owned EJS Electric for many years, and after retiring from that business, went on to become an Electrical Inspector for the township of Hillsborough, and then Manalapan for the past ten years, retiring in July of 2022. Ed was gifted mechanically. There was nothing he could not fix or build. Ed took genuine pleasure in talking to people and he could always be counted on to make you laugh and laugh. Ed would never miss the opportunity to call to wish you a happy birthday, singing happy birthday in Polish with great fervor. The world will unfortunately be a quieter place without him. Be at Peace, dear Ed. We will see you on the Dark Side of the Moon.

A visitation for Edward will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 31, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. A burial will occur Friday, March 31, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Graceland Memorial Park., 1900 Galloping Hill Rd., Kenilworth, NJ 07033.
