A funeral service will be held at the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, on Tuesday evening, May 25, at 7:30 p.m. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Born in Newark, Frank lived in Hillside for most of his life.
He was employed as a restaurant manager with the Briad Group, Bloomfield, for the past 10 years. Frank loved fishing.
He was the beloved son of the late Frank and Genevieve (nee Smigelsk) Szablowski; dear brother of Robert Szablowski, and Gregg Szablowski and his wife, Theresa; uncle of Robert A., Gregg B., Ryan, Jeanie, Ambyr and Alana, and longtime companion, Lori Russo, and her daughters, Samantha, Sara and Shanon.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, 507 Westminster Ave., Elizabeth, N.J. 07208, would be appreciated.
