George Edward Marx Sr.

George was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Old Bridge, NJ for over 30 years. He also lived in Whiting before settling in Jackson, NJ. He was employed for many years as a Department Chief for Western Electric, Union. He was also a veteran of the United States Army, having proudly served during WWII. George will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

Beloved husband of 58 years to the late Eleanor M. Marx. Loving father of George Marx Jr. and his wife Arlene, Robert Marx and his wife Mary, Michael Marx and his wife Florence, and Carol Marx Frank. Adoring grandfather of Daniel Marx and his wife Susan, Melissa Kaiser and her husband David, Christopher Marx, Michael Marx and his fiancé Randee Shoblock, Lea Marx, Alan Marx, Cory Frank, and Katherine Frank; great-grandfather of Maxwell Kaiser, Ryan Marx, Cassandra Marx, and Daniel Marx.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 23rd from 4-8 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union NJ. A service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, August 24th at 11 AM, with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
