Irene Stachowicz Lewis

She is predeceased by her parents Henry & Catherine Stachowicz and her sister Kathleen. She is survived by her son George Lewis and her daughters Antoinette "Tina" Accetturo and Angelina Accetturo and six grandchildren: PJ, Caitlyn, Andrew, Jason, Joseph, and Ryan, along with her brother Kenneth and sisters Carol and Nancy.

A lifelong resident of Essex County, she graduated at the top of her class at Chubb Institute for Programming in 1988. She cared passionately about her family & pets, and enjoyed bingo, casinos, and lottery playing. Irene worked for Kohl's store for many years before her retirement. She is dearly missed for her warmth and love and compassion and forgiveness that she gave to her family, friends, and even strangers.

Friends and Family are invited to visit McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ on Thursday October 21, 2021 from 5-9pm. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church, 971 Suburban Road, Union, NJ on Friday October 22, 2021 at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery. Please make any donations in her name to Cancer and Covid Charities.
