Jesus Velazquez

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25th from 5-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. A service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, July 26th at 10 AM with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Jesus was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico and lived in Harrisburg, PA and Hoboken, NJ before settling in Hackensack, NJ in 1977. He worked for Key Handling, Hackensack as a Welder for over 30 years. He was a loyal New York Mets and New York Jets fan. Jesus was a devoted father and grandfather who will be remembered for his sense of humor and positive outlook on life.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret Velazquez. Loving father of Mary Palumbo and her husband Albert, Daniel Velazquez, Kathleen Velazquez and Mark Newman, Betty Ann Velazquez, Edward Velazquez and the late David Velazquez and Linda Velazquez. Adoring grandfather of Jennifer Palumbo, Valerie Sinatra and her husband Kyle, Tiana Grehanov, and Taylor Velazquez. Dear brother of Samuel, Porfirio, Marcos, Cayin, and Andres. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
