John M. Primavera

John M. Primavera, age 84, of Lavallette, NJ, formerly of Irvington, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday August 6, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa Church 541 Washington Avenue Kenilworth, NJ, on Saturday August 9, 2014 at 10 AM. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park Union, NJ. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ; on Friday August 8, 2014 from 5-9 PM. John was the regional sales manager for Random House in New York City for 40 years retiring in 1998. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII. John loved to vacation with his family, visiting Mexico, Dominican Republic and even returning to Southern Italy to visit the birthplace of his parents. He was the manager of the Lavallette Tennis Court, a member of the Italian-American Club of Seaside, NJ, and the bowling league of Toms River, NJ. John was predeceased by his beloved wife Lillian Primavera, he is the devoted father of John and his wife Carolyn Primavera, Perry and his wife Lynn Primavera and Donna and her husband Richard Eisenstodt. Loving grandfather of Brittany, Michael, Joseph, Jake, Anthony, Jesse and Leigh. Cherished great-grandfather of Sami and Brody. Dear brother of Anthony and Janet Primavera.
