Louise Cerami

Louise V. Cerami, age 93, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Born in Newark, NJ, to Albert and Florence Vellanti, Louise lived in East Orange, NJ before moving to Union, NJ. She was a supervisor for N.J. Bell in Newark and also worked at Elastic Stop Nut in Union before her retirement in 1992. Louise was a member of St. Michael’s Parish and participated in their Seniors Group. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Rosarian Society, and served as a volunteer at Union Memorial Hospital. Louise was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Cerami; devoted mother of Arthur Joseph Cerami, Jr. and his wife Linda, and Mary Feick and her husband John; loving grandmother of Benjamin Cerami and Eric Feick. Louise was pre-deceased by her parents, sister, Agnes Kalkus, and brothers, Dominick and Samuel Vellanti. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Louise is survived by her dear sister, Gilda Tobia, and her adoring nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be offered at a later date.
