Madeline Krantz

Madeline Krantz, 83, of Branchburg, N.J., formerly of Union, N.J., passed away on Jan. 27, 2014, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, N.J. Visitation will take place on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 9 a.m. at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J.. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at Holy Spirit Church, Union, at 10:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Madeline was born in Roscommon, Ireland, and came to the United States in 1948. She lived in Union, N.J. for 30 years before settling in Branchburg, N.J. She was a member of the Branchburg Seniors Club. Madeline will be remembered for her love of bowling, golfing, sewing, and reading. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Krantz III; loving mother of Eric Krantz and his wife, Christine, and Patricia Krantz and her fiance, Rob Colin; adoring grandmother of Lauren Krantz and Claire Krantz; dear sister of Margaret Harrington, and sister-in-law of Carlon Krantz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Madeline's name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
