Marie Guillioza Elise

Marie Guilioza Elise was born on December 8, 1939 in L’Artibonite, Haiti and gained her wings on December 4th at Overlook Medical Center. Grandma was 85 years old, 4 days shy of her 86th birthday. We were Blessed to be touched by her, understood her existence and the imprint she left in our hearts.

Marie was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She Lived most of her life in Canada, she love to travel to New Jersey and Haiti to spend time with her family. Her favorite time was spent to take care of her family, her friends, and her community. She love to cook, sew, an avid homemaker and an amazing grandmother. When grandma wasn’t spending time on her projects. Not a day went by where she didn't talk about how much her children, grandchildren, Godchildren, and family meant to her - her family was arguably her most important achievement in life.

Marie is survived by her loving daughters Lutha and husband Gary and Doniale. Brothers Denis, Sergo and Matila her grandchildren, Jean Anderson, Tracey and husband Colcinus, & Ashley. Her great grandchildren ( Jahmar & Gabriel). The Herard Family, Alcin,Kenol,Destin,Jean, Elysee, & Guillaume family countless nieces, nephews and friends. Grandma you did your job, now it’s time for you to rest & let us continue where you left off.
