Born on November 18, 1979, in Elizabeth, NJ. Mark was a lifelong resident of the Linden/Roselle area. He touched the lives of many through his kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Mark dedicated countless hours to supporting fundraising events at St. Joseph’s and Holy Spirit Churches, always eager to lend a helping hand.
Mark was a true patriot who deeply loved the United States and proudly honored his Polish heritage, keeping its rich traditions alive in his life. No patriotic event or family celebration was complete without Mark’s spectacular fireworks displays, which he prepared with joy and pride.
Mark found joy in simple, meaningful moments: at every family gathering, he was his mom’s beloved sous-chef and dishwasher, always helping with a smile and a willing heart.
For the past ten years, Mark worked for the Clark Department of Public Works, where he was known for his dedication, hard work, and deep appreciation for the camaraderie he shared with his fellow workers. His coworkers became an extended family, and he treasured the friendships built there.
Mark loved the outdoors, often hiking with his beloved dog, Luna, and enjoyed quiet hours building collectible Star Wars Lego sets. He dreamed of retiring to a peaceful mountain cottage near his mother’s home, surrounded by the nature he cherished.
Mark loved deeply and selflessly, especially his family, whom he held close to his heart. He was the one you could always count on—faithful, generous, and quietly heroic in his everyday kindness.
He is survived by his loving parents, Halina Pieklo and Andrzej Kazmierczak; his brother, Arthur, and Arthur’s fiancée, Lauren; his cherished dog, Luna; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mark’s life was a beautiful example of faith, service, and love.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
