Timothy “Tim” Miller, born on February 26, 1974, in Livingston, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the age of 51. Tim was a 1992 graduate of Union High School. Tim was known for his warm spirit, infectious laugh, and legendary hugs—embraces that made everyone feel safe and cherished. His lifelong passion was taekwondo, and Tim was happiest when he was practicing the sport. Timmy was an avid sports fan who cheered passionately for the New York Rangers and the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team.
Tim was predeceased by his beloved father, James Miller, and his brother, Craig Miller. Tim dedicated his life to caring for his mother, Jean Miller, whom he loved more than anything. She was his greatest supporter. In addition to his mother, he also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. Tim’s legacy lives on in all those whose lives he touched.
He will be remembered for his loyalty, strength, and the joy he brought to every room. Although all who loved him will miss him dearly, Tim would want us to remember how much he loved us all and to live our lives to the fullest.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Palliative Care Program at Overlook Medical Center, 99 Beauvoir Avenue, Summit, NJ 0790.
