Born in New York and raised in Jersey City, Bill graduated from Dickinson High School in 1937 and Newark College of Engineering in 1954. He was a longtime resident of Union, NJ.
Bill is survived by his wife Thomasina Seery-Bodemann, a stepson, Mark Seery and his wife Jennifer of Kettle Falls, WA; a stepdaughter, Alicia Seery-Scala and her husband Mike of Westfield, NJ; a stepgrandson, Alex Seery of Westfield; sisters, Ruth Astorita and her husband Ralph of Goshen, NY; Alice Baxmeyer of Weehawken, NJ ; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Bill was predeceased by his first wife Marion Mag Bodemann in 2003.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday December 21st from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, NJ. A service will be held Thursday at the funeral home at 10 AM with committal service and interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
