To Mr. Garcia’s family,
I am 37 years old and still remember Mr. Garcia as my 1st and 3rd grade teacher. I am so sad to learn of his passing… I was looking him up because I never had the chance to tell him that I became what I wanted to be when I grew up- and that he had such an impact on that. Thank you for being one of the good ones.

One of the greatest teachers of all time…I will forever miss you Mr. Garcia. You taught me so much as a 2nd grader and beyond. We always used to crack jokes about sports to where we would just laugh. I will forever miss you and love you Mr. Garcia. Rest in Power in Heaven sir…you are one of the greats.

Armando Garcia was kind and always helpful!  He always helped me with my house and cars. He was a person that you can always count on!  He was a good family man.  I will surely miss his cooking of Texas beans, turkey, and yummy barbecues!

Mando, my love, my honey I love and miss you so much.  Thank you for loving your family so much and being so attentive to us.  We had so much fun together always.  I will miss your jokes, your humor, your smile, your touch, and your happy face.  We still need you and will forever keep you in our hearts.  Elena, Angelica, and I will love you for all eternity. Papa I will miss you.  Thank you for rocking me to sleep, making my spaghetti, and loving me.  I am sad you are not here but happy you will be in heaven.  I know you are watching me.  I hope you are happy getting to run around with no shirt and watching all the golf and baseball in the world.  I will pray for you and my family.  Love you papa!!

Armando Garcia was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.  He was Papa.  He always helped me with rides and taking care of Elena.  While he was stubborn and short tempered at times he always made sure I knew he loved me.  I think back and remember all the times he asked me if I was ok.  He told me he loved me every time he hung up on the phone with me. He might have gotten mad when I did something wrong but he always forgave me.  We watched Little House on the Prarie every day with my grandma and my mother.  We cried with certain songs and movies together.  We spent so many days together at home just enjoying each other's company.  I will always remember those simple but memorable days.  He acted as Elena's father and cared for her as he did for me.  I remember them taking naps, eating lunch, giving her baths, and them having random talks.  She asked for him all the time and he was there always ready to spoil her.  His last few days he told me he was proud of me.  That he was always proud of me.  He knew I struggled with my life's progress.  He wanted me to know that he loved me and proud for all I had done so far in life.  He was my best friend.  Love you Papa!

Angelica, I will always remember your father the way I met him, at your quinceniera.  He was so happy, so emotional and so proud of you.  He had such love for his family.  I saw it then and in the pictures you've shared with him and Elena.  What a beautiful gift.  May his love and his memory fill your hearts with light and love.

One of the nicest guys, if not THE nicest, in our class. Everyone liked Mando. His entire family was very much held in high esteem throughout the community. It saddens me to hear of his passing, but I very much enjoyed seeing that he was a huge success in every facet of his life.
