

Armando Garcia (Mando) 67, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, passed away at home surrounded by his family on August 3, 2016. He was born in Texas on June 28, 1949. He attended Sacred Heart Church in Rancho Cucamonga and belonged to the Men's Club at Whispering Lakes Golf Course in Ontario. He was an educator in the Walnut Valley Unified School District for 34 years. He was an avid fan of all sports but especially enjoyed horse racing and golf. He will always be remembered for his devotion to God, his students, teaching peers, friends, and especially his family.
He was blessed with his daughter Angelica Maria, a granddaughter Elena Rosa Maria, and his wife Mary Dolores. He is also survived by his sister, Herminia, brothers Dolmiro, Fabiel (Carolyn), Ceasar (Linda), Roland (Judy), Rene (Janice), sister-in-law Carmen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 18, from 5-8 pm, rosary is at 6:30 pm. At 10 am on Friday, August 19, a mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Rancho Cucamonga. Burial will be at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario.
