Donna Jean Pickens

Donna Pickens a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, exactly 10 years to the day of her beloved husband Larry’s passing. Born on July 15, 1950, in Ohio, Donna grew up in Florida, later moved to New York, and ultimately settled in California, where she built a life filled with love, adventure, and countless cherished memories.

Donna was predeceased by her husband, Larry, and her parents, Jack and Jean. She is survived by her devoted sons, Mike and Terry; her treasured grandchildren; her brothers, Mike and Jack; her sisters, Becky and Brenda; and her many nieces and nephews. Donna also leaves behind a vast network of friends, whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.

An avid member of her motorcycle group, Donna loved the freedom of the open road and the bonds she formed with her fellow riders. She was the heart of her family, always reaching out to keep in touch and bring everyone together. Her heart of gold and her inability to say no to anyone in need made her a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.

Donna’s legacy is one of kindness, connection, and a life lived with an open heart. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held on January 21, 2025, at Draper Mortuary from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
