With loving hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of Eva Marie Arellano Muñoz, who was peacefully welcomed home to our Lord on Saturday, December 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Eva was one of six children and was born on September 14, 1962, in Fontana, California, to Rudolpho “Lopo” and Grace Arellano.
A proud Ontario resident and a 1980 graduate of Ontario High School, Eva deeply loved her community and shared kindness, joy, and warmth with everyone she met. She lived her life guided by faith, compassion, and generosity, leaving a lasting impression on all who were blessed to know her. Eva was a devoted wife, an incredible mother, an adored Nani, a loving sister and Tia, and a loyal friend whose Catholic faith shined through her actions and her heart.
While her passing was unexpected and leaves us missing her dearly, we are comforted knowing she is now at peace and joyfully reunited with her parents and brother, Xavier Arellano, in God’s eternal kingdom. Eva’s love and legacy live on through her husband, Eric Muñoz; her sons, Deric and André Muñoz; her daughter-in-law, Jonni Muñoz; and her cherished grandchildren, Logan, Olivia, Joaquin, and Gracie Muñoz. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings— Ema (Ruben) Martinez, Lizzie (Eddie) Rubidoux, Lori (Fred) Stoner, and Andy (Patty) Arellano—along with her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Please join us in celebrating Eva’s wonderful life on Friday, January 9th at St. George Catholic Church located at 505 N. Palm Ave, Ontario, CA. We will have a viewing and rosary from 10:30 - 11:30 am, followed by mass from 11:45 am - 12:45 pm, with reception to follow. Eva was known for her signature look of bright colors, animal prints, and bling, so we encourage all attendees to wear anything honoring that.
Eva was truly blessed by the love of her community, and we are endlessly grateful to everyone who helped fill her life with so much joy, laughter, and purpose. Though our hearts feel her absence deeply, we find peace knowing she is resting, whole and free, and watching over us with love. Until we meet again, we will carry you in our hearts and dreams forever. We love you more—always.
