Evelyn Hortense Pippen (Gier) of Apple Valley, CA passed away on July 16th, 2024 in the comfort of her own home. Evelyn was born in Bagnell, Missouri December 19th, 1931 to Clint and Goldie Gier. Evelyn lived in Eldon, Missouri with her brother, Bernie Gier, until ~1949 when she left to go to school in St. Louis, MO. There, she met the love of her life, George Pippen. George and Evelyn were married in 1952 and had 2 children, Rory (1953) and Cathy (1955). The family eventually moved to California in 1962, making Upland their home for the last 62 years. Evelyn had an amazing career at Keystone Automotive, where she retired after 32 years of service in 1996. Evelyn was a devout Christian as a member of the First Baptist Church of Upland for many years, loved to travel with George across the Grand Tetons, and was truly the matriarch of her family, keeping them all together for the last 92 years.
Evelyn is survived by her Daughter In Law Karlla Pippen and Son In Law Mark Lesch, Sister In Law Linda Stark (Ron) and Sister In Law Verna Pippen.
Grandchildren Daniel Zucker, Natalie Paquette, Janel (Brian LeMaster), and Huck(Heather) Muessel, along with 7 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her Husband, George, Son, Rory Pippen, and Daughter, Cathy Lesch.

A memorial service for Evelyn will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 @ 2:00 PM at Stone Funeral Home,
