Frank was born on February 4th, 1955 to Frank and Sue O’Farrell in Monterey Park, CA. After Frank graduated from Schurr High School in 1973, he went to work for Vee’s Towing Service before being hired as a Fireman for Montebello Fire Department on September 15th, 1974. This began his successful 35-year career as a Firefighter. In 1985 he was promoted to the rank of Engineer and three years later he was promoted to Captain. During his time as Captain, he was responsible for starting the Fire Mechanics Program which combined his love of being a fireman and restoring classic cars.
In 1983, Franks was introduced to his wife Sally by their best friend, Sam Davis. Shortly after, Frank and Sally were married on March 3rd, 1984. They went on to have two children. Jenna Michelle was born in March of 1986 and Jared Michael was born in August of 1990. They enjoyed many trips as a family doing things together such as camping, riding sand rails in Pismo Beach and Glamis, and searching for the world’s largest ball of yarn.
In January 2009, Frank retired from the Fire Service and spent his time restoring many classic cars and enjoying his time in Havasu with family and friends.
Out of all of Frank’s accomplishments, he was most proud of being called Papa by his five grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his father Frank Sr and sister Colleen.
