Sylvia Joan Groshong

Sylvia was born on 05/12/1944 in Ketchikan, Alaska, to John Nelson Modig and Dorothy Irene Fawcett and she married, Lauren (Chick) Groshong in 1981.

Sylvia was predeceased by her parents John and Irene Modig. Her Husband Chick Groshong and her siblings, John Modig, Bernice Modig and Guy Modig.

Sylvia is survived by her siblings: Terry Lee, Pat Foye, Barbarba Beljin, Douglas Modig, and Pam Wimbish and her stepchildren Michelle Sachs, Greg Groshong and Kim Groshong.

Services will be held at Oak Park Cemetery in Clarmont, California. On April 15th, 2025, at 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Sylvia Groshong, to Calcare Hospice INC., an organization that made her last few weeks of life comfortable.
