Allison “Al” Doyle Brock, 73, of Alma, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his home. He was born May 7, 1941 in Warner, OK to the late Walter and Ila Brock. He was a self-employed painter, and served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma; four daughters, Amanda Varnell of Van Buren, Carolyn Spade of Lake Charles, LA, Laura McCarley of Fort Smith, and Sheila Brock of Anchorage, AK; three sons, James Standridge of Fort Smith, Ellis Brock and Richard Brock both of Anchorage, AK; sixteen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
A family-hosted graveside memorial will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
