She is survived by her husband, Carlos Melendez, of the home; one daughter, Joana Melendez of the home; one son, Guillermo Melendez of the home; her father, Luis Batres of Van Buren, AR; one brother, Santo Batres of Van Buren, AR; as well as a grandfather, Encarnacion Mendoza of Cabanas, El Salvador.
Rosary will be 7:00 P.M. Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Funeral mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Church in Fort Smith with burial at Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
