Arneita Patton, 57, of Mountainburg, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born September 17, 1955 in Clarksville to the late Earl and Dee Ray Pitts. She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Van Buren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Patterson.
She is survived by her husband, Tyrell Patton of the home; a daughter, Mychel Medina and husband Jose of Alma; two sons, T.J. Patton and wife Kim of Alma, and Ayron Patton and wife Ashley of Alma; five brothers, Earl D. Pitts of Hagarville, AR, Dean Pitts, Sidney Pitts, and Dennis (Pinky) Pitts all of Clarksville, and Don Pitts of Farmington; six grandchildren, Hannah Putman, Emilio Medina, Megan, Adam, Ayden and Nadia Patton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A family hosted memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Van Buren.
Cremation will be under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
