Barry Armand Gudgeon

Barry Armand Gudgeon, 66, of Mountainburg, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 at his home. He was born July 26, 1957 in Hillsboro, WI to the late Ishmael and Altha (Opperud) Gudgeon. He was retired from the Mountainburg Police Dept., and a member of Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Gudgeon; and a sister, Joan Cadorette.

He is survived by four daughters, Demetria Hartt of Carthage, MO, Rebecca Gudgeon of Mountainburg, Laura Gudgeon (Billy Bull) of Van Buren, and Paulette Gudgeon (Ron Clements) of Carthage, MO; a son, Jeremy Gudgeon (Rhonda) of Ironwood, MI; a brother, Royce Gudgeon (Tina) of Largo, FL; eighteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Mountainburg with interment to follow at Vaught Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Billy Bull, Lance Slusher, Conner Rogers, Corgan Henry, and Ben Cadorette.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
