Beverly Jean Burkhart, 63, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018. She was born October 30, 1954 in Fort Smith to the late Ray and Clara Burkhart. She was a retired radio personality for KISR and SPIRIT 106.3, and owner/operator of Red Eagle Designs. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith, and led the Women’s Bible Study at Midtown Apartments.
She is survived by a sister, Vickie Serrano of Fort Smith; a brother, Dennis Burkhart of Gilmer, TX, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family-hosted memorial service will be 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
