Billy Johnston, 71, or Alma, AR, died Thursday March 10, 2011 in his home. He was born September 14, 1939 in Alma, AR. He was a retired installer for O.W. Donald Antenna Co. and an avid ham radio operator. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth.
He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Foster of Van Buren, AR; three sons, William Johnston of Van Buren, AR, Brad Johnston of Alma, AR and Justin Johnston of Darlington, S.C.; four sisters, Linda Thomas of Alma, AR, Georgina Beashers of Greenwood, AR, Bee Watkins of Alma, AR and Connie Johnston of MI; a brother, Randall Johnston of Alma, AR and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be10:00 A.M. Monday March 14, 2011 at Alma Cemetery in Alma, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
