Billy “Bill” Watson, 87, of Alma, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at his home. He was born July 15, 1933 in Clarksville. He served in the U.S. Navy; and was retired from Dixie Cup after 39 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Watson; a son, Bruce Watson; his parents, Lonnie and Jewell Passmore; and a brother, Glenn Passmore.
He is survived by a daughter, Marcy Ball of Barling; two sons, Don Watson of Vian, and Barry Watson of Van Buren; a sister, Gail Hartsell of Alma; eleven grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Alma Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
