Brenda Garrett Green, 60, of Van Buren, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013, in a local hospital. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for Holt-Krock Clinic in Van Buren, and a Presbyterian. She was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Garrett.
She is survived by two daughters, Jcena Green of Van Buren, and Incy Cherry and her husband Charles of Van Buren; two sisters, Nancy Stepusin and Lisa Jones of Van Buren; a brother, Wendell Golab of Fayetteville, AR; three grandsons, Cameron and Chase Cherry and Matthew Childers, all of Van Buren; a granddaughter, Kendra Cherry of Van Buren; a great-granddaughter, Ms. Patty Cakes; a niece, Stacey Phung; and Brenda’s pet Yorkie, Minnie.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
