Chuck Hughes, 59, of Alma, AR, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 in Van Buren, AR. He was born December 16, 1954 in Paris, AR. He retired from Trane. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Hughes and a brother, Larry Hughes.
He is survived by his wife, Azanna Hughes of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Fagan of Alma, AR, Victoria Kremers of Clarksville, AR; a son, Allen Hughes of Waxhaw, NC; his father, Alfred Hughes of Scranton, AR; as well as six grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Randy Arnold, Bobby Snow, David Snow, Ricky Snow, Roy Rains, and Ellis Brisher. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Pope, Bill Douglas, and Billie Gene Smith.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
