Rev. C.W. Jones, 77, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 at his home. He was born January 7, 1944 in Benton. He was a welding instructor at the Van Buren High School for 23 years and was the pastor at Faith Tabernacle in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Flora Jones; two sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Jones of the home; four sons, Danny Jones, Curtis Jones, Steven Jones and Michael Jones, all of Van Buren; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Faith Tabernacle in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Danny, Curtis, Steven, Michael, Anson, and Shannon Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Bro. Dewayne Johns, Lee Roy Sharrah, Jack Robinson, and his dominoes friends.
Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2021, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
