

Daniel Palmer, 69, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Fort Smith. He was born November 25, 1947 in Youngstown, OH to the late Anthony and Josephine Palmer. He was a supervisor at Pepper Source, and the co-owner/operator of Palmer’s Auto Barn and C&S Auto Repair & Gas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine White, and Angela Westphal; a brother, Anthony (Teo) Palmer; a niece, Brenda Salcido; and beloved dog, Mollie.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Palmer of the home; a daughter, Gina Gregory and husband Kirk of Mulberry; two sons, Craig Palmer and wife Kari of Rudy, and Brad Palmer and wife Chandra of West Fork; four grandchildren, Laura Norwood, Ashley Palmer, Paislee Gregory, and Weston Palmer; a great-granddaughter, Hadleigh Lister; and several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Lenn Hall, Andrew Hall, Taylor Hall, Duane White, Kirk Gregory, David Norwood, and Chance Lister.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
