Mrs. Debbie Sampley, 58, of Van Buren, AR died Tuesday, January 6th, 2015 in a local hospital. She was born November 29, 1956 to the late Junior and Anna Phillips. She was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by her husband Eddie “Pug” Sampley, Sr., and a brother Garry Phillips.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 9th, 2015 in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by a daughter Lisa Fimpel and her husband Donnie of Woodward, Oklahoma, a son Eddie Sampley, Jr. and his wife Desirae of Alma, Arkansas, four sisters; Patricia Sampley of Van Buren, Darlene Sampley of Van Buren, Tammy Powell of Van Buren, Michelle Gordon of Alma, AR, four brothers; Garland Phillips of Alma, AR, Larry Phillips of Fort Smith, AR, Melvin Phillips of Van Buren, AR, and Marvin Phillips of Van Buren, AR, four grandchildren; Deverick Fimpel and his wife Caroline, Daegan Fimpel, Kynadee Sampley, and Weston Sampley and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, January 8th, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
