Dickie Peevy, 78, of Tulsa, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019. He was born November 14, 1940 in Dyer to the late Velda and Fayette Peevy. He was a retired salesman, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Erin Peevy; a stepdaughter, Jill Norris; and a sister, Lynnah Kimes.
He is survived by a stepson, Craig Norris of Tulsa; a sister, Verna Smith of Dyer; a brother, Thomas Peevy of Tulsa; a grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time, Saturday, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
