

Edward Earl Loving, 62, of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026. He was born April 23, 1963, in Houston, Texas to the late Jesse and Jean (Ward) Loving. He was an avid race car enthusiast. In addition to following his favorite series such as Late Models and NASCAR, he was also an experienced race car driver where he raced at Crawford County speedway. He developed lifelong friendships through his love of racing.
Ed spent many years coaching baseball, basketball, and football to the youth of Van Buren. His mentorship impacted many community members, and his love of sports was evident by the care he took in coaching area kids. Ed was a member of Kibler Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra (Chandler); two sons, Scott (Michelle) of New Blaine, and Jake (Mandy) of Russellville; and a daughter, Kristyn Bickerton (Eric) of Van Buren. He leaves behind seven grandchildren, Savannah, Colton, Ella, Emma, Lucy, Brock, and Graham. He is also survived by a brother, David Loving of Owasso, OK.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Danny Jones, Adam Mills, David Norried, Mack Harrol, Carl Moore, Mitchell Cole, Wilson O’Kelly, and Rick Lolley.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
