Elaine Carr

Elaine Carr, 81, of Hot Springs Village, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015. She was born September 6, 1933 in Leslie, AR to the late Henry and Mary Crace. She was a retired secretary, and a member of the First Assembly of Hot Springs Village where she worked as a greeter. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Carr.

She is survived by two daughters, Twana Gilmore and husband Ronnie of Hot Springs Village, and Karla Morse and husband David of Gainesville, TX; two sons, Ed Carr and wife Ginger of Alma, and Corbett Carr and wife Jan of Van Buren; a brother, Ray Crace and wife Dorothy of North Little Rock; thirteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Mason Carr, Michael McDonald, Steve McDonald, David Carr, C.J. Carr, and Matt Morse. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Stout, and Kelly Ward.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
