Gary Randel Mooney, 77, of Alma, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021. He was born March 7, 1944 in Altus, AR. He worked at WW&L Printing Company in Fort Smith for 22 years and later as a barber before he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.B. Mooney, Sr, and Erla Estella (Bean) Mooney; three brothers, E.B. Mooney, Jr., Dale Mooney, Blen Mooney; two sisters, Wanda Wineinger and Cleta Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sherrie Mooney of the home; a son, James Neal Mooney of Alma and brother, Reverend Von Dell Mooney of Conway.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
