Gerald “Grandpa” Kirby, 65, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born March 20, 1950 in California to the late Alvey and Catherine Kirby. He was a retired driver for Shamrock Bolt & Screw.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathy Duncan and husband John Dwight Duncan of Van Buren, and Patti Ellis of Sand Springs, OK; two sons, Jeremy Kirby of Lexington, OK, and Billy Ellis of Sand Springs; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Family hosted memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, August 29th, at the home of Kathy Duncan.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
