Geraldine McCoy, 70, of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014. She was born March 6, 1943 in Elkhart, IN to the late Howard and Edith Frees. She was a longtime member of the Fern Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by a son, Tim McCoy.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie Basden of Sherwood, AR; a son, David McCoy of Van Buren; a sister, Jane Roberts of Rudy; a brother, Clark Frees of Central City, NE; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
