Gertrude Wright, 89, of van Buren, AR, died March 1, 2011 in a local hospital. She was born March 7, 1921 in Hammond, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oviedo, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter.
She is survived by two grandsons of Florida; three nieces, Nola Moore of Highland, IN, Sandy Schroeder of Crown Point, IN and Rosemarie Murphy & Husband Tommy of Van Buren, AR, her caregivers for the last 5 years, their families and a host of friends.
She was cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral home. Graveside services will be held in Oviedo, FL. at a later date.
