He is survived by his wife, Gail Dean of the home; two daughters, Janet King and Debbie Dean, both of Fort Smith; a stepdaughter, Dee Dechow of Tulsa; a son, Duane Dean of Fayetteville; a stepson, Ed Richmond of Fort Smith; a sister, Barbara Sneed of Alma; a brother, C.L. Dean of Alma; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, six step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
